Dr Navin Vithal

Born and educated in Wellington, graduating from Victoria University with Honours in Biochemistry before completing dentistry in Otago in 1984. He spent time overseas working in a large practice with specialists before returning to New Zealand in 1987.

He established the Hutt Dental Centre in 1990 and in 1996 established Tennyson Dental Centre.2006 Supreme Dental Concepts

Navin is a regular attendee at courses, loves dentistry and has a particular passion for cosmetic dentistry. He finds it very satisfying seeing clients self esteem grow with their new smiles. 2004 was a rewarding year for Navin being voted Wellington’s Best Dentist and an invitation to an exclusive course-dinner with Bill Dorfman from the hit television series Extreme Makeover.

Dr Omar Dawood

Joins the team bringing with him the technical skill which enables him to deal with a lot of the complicated surgical issues related to dentistry. Omar finished his dental degree in Iraq in 2005 and then got registration in New Zealand in 2007.

Omar has interests in all aspects of dentistry but his main focus has been on cosmetic work and to provide the best solutions for clients to enable them to keep their teeth.

Monty joins us with a wide range of dental experience and knowledge.  Dr. McAulay-Rieger graduated with a B.S. and M.S. in Ceramic Engineering from the OhioStateUniversity and a Ph.D.in Biomaterials and Biomechanics from the University of Virginia in the US.  He then went on to get a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, Texas, USA.

Dr James Au

Dr James Au

James grew up in Palmerston North and did all his schooling there. He then went onto Otago University and completed a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. James has a passion for all aspects of dentistry .

James personal interests are varied with him being fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese. Apart from being multilingual his interests extend into other areas of sports and the arts.

James is an avid soccer player and in his spare time has been a music teacher for the piano and his interests also extend to the guitar.

James interest also are taken up by photography which is a very useful attribute to dentistry as this allows for a person to take in the finer details of what they see and this can be of great help when it comes to aspects of cosmetic work in dentistry.

Dr Divya Ramanan

Divya has been raised in Wellington and attended Wellington Girls’ College before she went onto dental school in Otago. In 2012, Divya is working at the hospital dental department and joins the team at Supreme Dental Concepts to help pass on and integrate skills developed in that field. Divya is interested in all facets of dentistry, with a budding passion for oral surgery, restorative dentistry and endodontics.

Divya has a wide range of sporting interests including indoor netball, badminton, bowling, running and recently even aqua jogging.

Over the years Divya has developed a love for arts and crafts and is particularly interested in card making, origami and other paper crafts.
