ACC in New Zealand covers part payment for dental treatment which is the result of injury either at home or in the workplace. It is very important that you should see your dentist as soon as possible when the accident has occurred. The dentist will carry out an examination and then fill in a number of registration forms which you will be required to sign as well. Since ACC only covers part payment of costs it is very important that you obtain an estimate from your dentist on how of the costs you will be required to pay. A form can be sent into ACC requesting a cost estimate that they will cover. It is important that you ask your dentist.
