A Bitesplint is an appliance which is constructed for three different reasons.

1. To prevent you from wearing (grinding) down your teeth
2. TMJ problems (Tempromandibular joint), when your joint for your jaw just in front and below the ears gives you problems
3. General occlusal problems, these are problems which are related to your bite.

The cost of the splint will vary on the type of splint which you require and depending on how it is constructed.
