Childrens Teeth

Supreme Dental Concepts is a registered childrens dentist, so there is no charge for college age children under 18 and attending College

Children go through various stages of development of their teeth which is shown below in the animation. It is very important that the sequence of the teeth coming through is correct not necessarily that the teeth are early or they are late. In New Zealand young children are looked after by the government dental health service. If however they are not able to be seen by the health service they can be brought into a dentist to be seen who is registered with the dental service as a provider.

 

Our Hutt practice is a registered childrens dentist

 

 

Once they attend secondary school then they are able to visit a registered childrens dentist at no charge until they leave school or turn 18 (whichever one comes first). The children will have to enrol at the practice and they will be provided with state funded treatment.

The sequence of developmenit  is usually mor important than the exact time the tooth erupts into the mouth.
