Born and educated in Wellington, Dr Navin Vithal graduated from Victoria University with Honours in Biochemistry before completing his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Otago. After working overseas in a large multidisciplinary practice, he returned to New Zealand in 1987 and has since founded three dental practices, including Supreme Dental Concepts in 2006.
Navin has a strong interest in cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry and is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. He is committed to ongoing professional education and has built his career around combining clinical excellence with a personalised, patient-focused approach. He was voted Wellington’s Best Dentist in 2004 and has undertaken advanced training with leading names in aesthetic dentistry.
He is a member of the New Zealand Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry and the New Zealand Dental Association. He has also undertaken professional training in facial aesthetic treatments, including Botox® and dermal fillers, and offers these treatments where clinically appropriate.
Outside clinical practice, Navin is also the author of Evolve, the first volume of The Human–AI Dialogues, and founder of The HAID, a writing project exploring human development, technology, and the future of intelligent collaboration.
